Before the primary race here in Ga., my wife and I were going over the ballot one more time. There was a name on the ballot that caught her attention, Alisha Thomas Searcy, it sounded so familiar. Turns out Ms. Opportunity School District, which is what Sarah called her when she ran in 2020 and lost, had changed her last name presumably through marriage. She ran in 2020 as Alisha Thomas Morgan. She won, so for the next 4 years, we’re screwed!
